National Account Manager - Foodservice & Wholesale 1 day per week in Slough (Hybrid Role) Up to £50k attractive share options 20% bonus MKJ Ignite is excited to partner with a fast-growing, innovative British company behind two game-changing brands.
With a focus on delivering delicious, healthy, and sustainable snacks, this B Corp-certified business is looking for a dynamic National Account Manager to lead their foodservice and wholesale growth, while contributing to their mission to make the planet—and snacking—better.
What skills do you need to have to be considered?
? Develop and execute sales plans to drive revenue through foodservice and wholesale channels.
? Build powerful relationships with buyers and customer teams, presenting the key benefits of the brand.
? Identify and secure new ranging opportunities while supporting the launch of exciting NPD.
? Deliver excellent customer service and create mutually beneficial business plans.
? Analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
? Successfully onboard new accounts and strengthen existing partnerships.
? Manage P&L responsibilities, ensuring commercially smart decisions that maximize ROI.
? Represent the brand at key trade shows and industry events, driving brand awareness.
? A proven track record in FMCG sales, with experience in foodservice or wholesale accounts.
? Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset, with a passion for sustainability and innovation.
What Youll Be Doing: ? Account Management Expertise - Proven ability to develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue targets.
Experience managing foodservice and wholesale accounts, such as Bidfood, Brakes, or regional wholesalers.
? Business Development - Track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Ability to creatively pitch and sell in new product launches (NPD).
? Relationship Building - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build powerful relationships with buyers and customer teams.
Ability to present the brand benefits effectively and work collaboratively with clients to create mutual value.
? Analytical Thinking - Skilled in analysing account performance and using insights to develop actionable strategies.
Commercially savvy with a strong understanding of P&L management.
? Promotional Planning - Ability to lead end-user distribution initiatives, including promotional planning, in-store activations, and sampling events.
? Adaptability and Drive - Entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating with a wider team.
? FMCG Experience - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the foodservice or wholesale sector within FMCG.
? Passion for Sustainability and Health – An alignment with the company's values, including a focus on health, wellness, and sustainability.
?A valid UK driving license to accommodate travel requirements.
