Purpose of the job Here at Devro, we are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer expert to join our collaborative and committed maintenance team where you will be responsible for completing all electrical and mechanical planned, scheduled and reactive tasks.
This can be a fast-paced environment at times and it is fair to say, you will not be bored in this role.

In this role you will be required to work on a rotation shift pattern which will include weekends.
Duties and responsibilities: - Working with various machine components within the maintenance workshop environment and throughout various areas of manufacturing facility, this will include steam boilers, water pumps, process displacement pumps, grinders, emulsifiers, PLC's, inverters, etc - Providing support to the production process by assessing faults within a high-speed production environment - Manually handle an expansive range of machinery and plant within the maintenance workshop environment, utility plant room and throughout the manufacturing production areas - Planning, organising and completing all tasks in line with the maintenance department standard operating procedures - Completing all tasks in accordance with the company health and safety and food safety procedures - Conducting planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work on bespoke equipment - Ensuring all completed work tasks are recorded within the department computerised maintenance management system Skills, knowledge and experience required: - Previous experience and knowledge of completing mechanical and electrical tasks - Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally - Must have a strong understanding and appreciation of health and safety procedures - Previous mechanical and electrical experience and knowledge is required within manufacturing or similar industry - Strong understanding and capability of employing new systems, equipment and techniques - Good understanding of food safety within the manufacturing environment - You should have completed a recognised multi-skilled apprenticeship or completed multi-skilled training programme and hold the appropriate qualifications e.g.
