RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a company that supplies forklifts, access equipment and warehouse equipment.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field-Based Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This role involves working on construction and agricultural sites, as well as industrial premises, where you will be responsible for onsite servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
You will also conduct annual inspections and provide detailed reports to both customers and management.
Key Responsibilities: Perform onsite servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment.
Conduct annual inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Provide clear and concise reports to customers and management regarding the condition of equipment and any repairs or maintenance performed.
Utilize computer diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Maintain a friendly and professional approach when interacting with customers and team members.
Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in working with machinery such as telescopic handlers, forklift trucks, access equipment, excavators, and rollers.
Proficiency in using computer diagnostic tools to identify and solve technical issues.
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
High attention to detail in both practical work and theoretical understanding.
A friendly and approachable demeanour is essential for customer interactions.
