Key Responsibilities: Strategic Vision & Execution: Develop and implement Operations Vision for sustainable, year-on-year improvements in cost and yield.
Operational Excellence: Utilise performance systems and Lean Manufacturing principles to optimise processes and drive innovation.
Health, Safety & Environment: Promote safe working practices and a Safety-First culture, ensuring compliance with HSE legislation.
Supply Chain Management : Cultivate intimate supplier and customer relationships, seamlessly linking Demand and Supply.
Production & Quality: Collaborate with the Plant to maintain high-quality production standards and strive for world-class manufacturing.
Engineering & Maintenance: Identify and initiate machinery replacements or expansions, formulating investment proposals for senior approval.
Financial Management: Partner with Finance to produce and monitor the annual Capital budget, ensuring projects align with Capex expectations.
People & Team Management: Foster open communication, effective training, and a family culture aligned with company values.

Essential requirements Previous experience in a Process engineering or Mechanical engineering position, within the Manufacturing sector Must be Degree or HND qualified in mechanical or process engineering Must have relevant hands on post graduate working experience in manufacturing Passionate, charismatic and a keen desire to be successful with reliable and professional approach Pathway to Growth: While prior team management experience is not a requirement, this role is ideal for an ambitious engineer eager to develop into a leadership role.
