Join our dedicated team as a Midday Assistant , for a supportive and thriving SEN school in Chigwell.
Role Details Hours: Part-time, during lunchtime hours (exact timings to be confirmed).
Contract: Term-time only.
Salary: Competitive and based on experience.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and support pupils during lunch breaks, both in the dining hall ? and outdoor areas .
Promote a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment.
Assist with feeding, personal care, and mobility where necessary.
Foster positive interactions and encourage social development.
Respond effectively to the needs of pupils with varying abilities and challenges, including emotional and behavioural support.
About You We are looking for someone who: Is patient, caring, and committed to supporting children with SEN. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Can remain calm and proactive in a busy environment.
Is reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
