Microsoft are a key vendor in Softcat's portfolio, with a team of subject matter experts who operate as an overlay to the Softcat account management team.

Empowering Microsoft customers with exceptional support and engagement As a Microsoft Internal Specialist, you will be an essential part of the Microsoft Alliances Team working alongside our Corporate Account Management team and Microsoft Product and Licensing Specialists.
This individual will be supporting and engaging with customers to provide product and licensing information as well as assisting with quotes, reports and referrals to ensure that our customers can adopt to Microsoft's modern licensing, without losing competitive advantage or risking compliance.
As a Microsoft Internal Specialist, you'll be responsible for:  Supporting with customer opportunities and creation of quotations for the customers  Inbox management of the MS Internals as well as the Enterprise and Corporate Team Working closely with Microsoft Specialists and Account managers for processing renewals effectively  Managing the sales process and reporting of annual orders, renewals, licence and consumption reports Providing support with the creation of standardised customer facing templates  Dealing with product and licencing enquires and managing new business referrals, new leads and opportunities Delivering verbal and written communications with customers and Microsoft  Providing support to the Account managers in placing orders   We'd love you to have A strong passion for technology and its potential to drive business success Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across multiple business areas Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Proactive approach to taking ownership of your business area while seamlessly integrating and working effectively within various teams at Softcat Excellent time management skills, ensuring the ability to meet fast turn-around expectations   Work in a way that works for you     We recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
