Job Description Mental Health Youth Teaching Assistant \n Location of school: DE3 \n Start date: As soon as possible \n Contract: Temporary and Full time 8:15am - 3:30pm \n Pay: £90-£110 per day (ranges based on payroll choice) \n We are currently supporting a secondary Special Educational Needs school who are in need of Mental Health Youth Teaching Assistants to support students aged 11-16 with Autism, ADHD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.
\n It is a very challenging environment so experience and knowledge with SEND and SEMH children or young adults is essential.
\n You will need a DBS on the update service for this role (we can also provide one for you).
\n Responsibilities: \n - Using CPOMs to report incidents \n - Support students who are non-verbal \n - Supporting students with future aspirations and job opportunities \n - Supporting students with ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities or who experience anxiety and/or depression \n - Working with students on an EHCP \n - Monitor and record a students progress and behaviour \n - Manage very challenging behaviours \n - Work closely with Curriculum Leaders and Site Lead Teachers \n If you have experience in a school setting or with SEND and SEMH students please apply.
