Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a compassionate team at a school specializing in supporting young children with a range of Social Emotional Mental Health needs (SEMH) .

This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to nurturing vulnerable young learners and creating a secure, trusting learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: Provide bespoke, one-on-one and group support to pupils with additional needs.
Collaborate with teaching staff to implement personalised learning and support plans for pupils.
Adapt your approach to support the emotional, social, and academic development of each child.
Build meaningful relationships rooted in trust, encouragement, and understanding.
Maintain an awareness of safeguarding procedures and protocols at all times. What We're Looking For: Previous experience working with children with SEN/SEMH. A patient, resilient, and adaptive approach to providing individualized support.
Strong behaviour management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build connections with young, vulnerable pupils.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to best meet each child's needs.
Adaptability and felxibility to support the changing needs of pupils. Team Teach or PRICE trained, or willingness to attend training in these areas.
