Main duties of the job Utilisingclerical skills to ensure letters, reports and associated documentation arecompleted as required, ensuring these are undertaken in a timely manner.Managingall enquiries in an effective manner.Scanningof patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients'health care records as necessary.Processingrequests for information SAR, insurance/solicitor's letters and DVLAforms.Maintaininga clean, tidy, effective working area always.Supportingall clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requestedRespondor action tasks sent via the EMIS system on a daily basis.Tomaintain and keep up to date data logs in computerised patient records in anaccurate and secure manner.Toreceive incoming and initiate outgoing telephone calls in order to facilitatetimely and appropriate communications with others, taking messages and dealingwith appropriate queries and tasks from either patients, services within theNHS or insurance companies.Toassist with the gathering of statistics and information when required.Toprovide internal cover for annual leave within the department.Tobe able to prioritise workload.Toinform lead of possible data breaches.Tomanage and maintain emails that come through from colleagues within NHS servicesor insurance companies.Distributinglab reports and medication requests on the clinical system to the relevantclinical staff.Processingprescription request and queries.

The role of Medical Reports Team Administrator/Prescribing Clerk will be based in the centre of Telford, TF3 4LY at our Head Office, located next to the train station.The role will be working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:00am - 5:30pm.
