Housekeeping Manager (Monday To Friday)

Berwick House Ventures LTD is seeking a Head Housekeeper to grow with our hospitality and events business.
Berwick House is an 18 bedroom stately home just 1.5 miles from Shrewsbury Town Centre.
It was built in 1731 and has been family owned and operated since 1875.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a young team during a period of fast growth.
You will have our support in building a housekeeping team and developing a process to help your team carry out their day-to-day tasks.
There is abundant room for growth in this role as we look to incorporate additional responsibilities pertaining to the beautification of the House & Gardens.

Responsibilities
Build an effective systematic approach for clearing events and preparing the house for the next check-in
Tweak the housekeeping systems over time to ensure alignment with Berwick's long term goals and growth
Support the team in carrying out quick turnarounds and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Grow & oversee the housekeeping team
Participate in higher level meetings and advocate for your team's needs as the business continues to grow
Manage housekeeping staffing, linen supply, and stock of cleaning materials
Contribute to a comfortable, friendly and professional atmosphere
Qualifications
Housekeeping experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
Our ideal candidate will have an eagerness to learn and grow, coupled with a background that gives them the confidence to suggest and implement creative solutions.
Proactive communication of positive feedback as well as any issues or areas of concern is essential for productive membership of Berwick's team.
