Role: Mechanical Shift Engineer Shifts: 2 Weeks of Monday to Friday 7am 4pm then 1 Week of Monday to Friday 2pm 10pm then 1 Week of Monday to Thursday 6pm 3am.

Through continued growth they are now seeking a Mechanical Shift Engineer with experience of Planned Preventative Maintenance and responding to breakdowns within a team environment.
Responsibilities Along with planned & reactive maintenance, the Mechanical Shift Engineer will also have the opportunity to undertake projects and improvement work to both plant machinery & building infrastructure across this highly automated production facility.
Requiring a proactive approach and good attention to detail, the Mechanical Shift Engineer must have good understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental, ensuring work is completed in accordance with the CMMS & the companies EH&S guidelines.
Skills & Experience Good Mechanical Maintenance skills including some of the following: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Chains, Bearings, Shafts, Seals, Motors, Welding, Fabrication etc Good troubleshooting & diagnostics skills Experience of mechanical equipment inspections & jobs issued via the CMMS schedule Maintain & update files/records using the CMMS system Ensure spares are kept to optimum levels and spares used in PPM or repairs are recorded to enable Stores inventory to be updated accurately NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Mechanical Engineering Good ability to read technical drawings Able to Work at Height and in Confined Spaces with relevant training provided Computer literate, with a good working knowledge of MS office packages Good communication and team skills Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Alec at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered or call TechNichols Resourcing and speak with Alec for further information.
