Mechanical Design Engineer Job Overview Creating a wide variety of designs for machinery products.
Design & build components to customer specifications.
Create final assembly, machining drawings and modifying & improving existing designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD Ensuring designs are safe to build as well as cost effective Provide technical support to the shopfloor and site installation teams as and when required.
Run your own project with minimum supervision.
Follow all set drawing office procedure Generate part list/BOM's Ensure all designs & part lists are released in timely manner to an agreed timescale Liaise with customers, suppliers & internal departments to ensure the information is free and flowing.
