The Fleet Services Team are currently seeking Mechanics (Fleet Maintenance Technicians) to join our team.This is an exciting time to be joining the Fleet Services Team as we embark on a modernisation and transformational change to move our service into the modern age supporting and helping embed our green agenda with specific regard to our 'Greening the Fleet' aspirations.Our ideal candidate will be an individual with previous experience of vehicle repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles and an appropriate qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology.
You should have a flair for diagnosing a wide range of vehicle faults; striving to go the extra mile with a "can do", positive attitude to problem solving.
You will hold a City & Guilds in Motor Vehicle Technology (level 2) or NVQ equivalent in Motor Vehicle Technology or proven experience of vehicle repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles.

In return, you will be supported in obtaining multiple qualifications and accreditations to support your future career development including IMI Level 2 / 3 In Electric Hybrid Vehicle System Repair, IRTEC Vehicle Inspections and nominated MOT tester status.Due to the nature of the work you will need to have a flexible approach to your working hours.
This role requires you to be able to work the current shift pattern which includes early mornings (6am to 2pm), evenings (1pm to 9pm) and occasional weekends.
