  Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 , ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing interventions as necessary.
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the Maths curriculum, ensuring it remains engaging, accessible, and challenging.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and promote continuous improvement within the department.
Uphold the school's high standards of behaviour, attendance, and academic achievement.
Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support pupil success.
Participate in whole-school initiatives, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all safeguarding procedures to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all pupils.
  The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have substantial experience teaching Maths at the secondary level.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the Maths curriculum and an ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
Be passionate about inspiring students to develop a strong understanding and appreciation of mathematics.
Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Be proactive, reflective, and committed to their own professional development.
Share the school's ethos of high standards, respect, and collaboration.
