This role involves working closely with various departments to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical thinker with experience of traditional and digital marketing techniques, alongside project, event and campaign management.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy and PlanningDevelop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the company's business objectives and target audienceLead the development, creation, and implementation of the annual customer marketing plansWork closely with stakeholders, suppliers and external agencies to deliver best-in-class customer marketing activities to our customersPresent customer marketing plans at meetings, delivering creative and impactful presentationsPrepare annual marketing budgets and manage spend effectivelyCampaign ManagementPlan, create, and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, email, events, PR, etc.
)Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to design and deliver high-impact marketing content, visuals, and messagingLeverage workflow software to drive, track, manage, pro-actively plan and report on all creative campaign outputsDigital MarketingDevelop and manage the company's digital marketing presence, including company websites and across social media platformsOptimise the company's website and digital content to increase organic search traffic and improve user experienceLeverage analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track digital performance and make data-driven decisions for improvementsBrand & Creative ManagementOversee brand development and ensure all marketing communications are consistent with brand guidelines and voiceConduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferencesLead the development of all creative work, develop briefs for packaging, point of sale materials, literature, exhibition graphics, customer pitches and key business presentations Content Marketing and PRDevelop and implement a content marketing plan, working alongside third party professionals to drive key messagesManage PR, working collaboratively with the internal team and a PR Consultancy to draft press release content, plan media and advertising coverage and direct campaign narratives to enhance company imageCustomer Insights and Market ResearchGather, analyse, and interpret customer insights, competitor research, and market trends to shape marketing strategyEvent ManagementPlan and execute promotional events, trade shows and sponsorships to increase brand exposure and engage customersCoordinate logistics, budgets, and all marketing deliverables to ensure successful event executionTake the lead in critical path development to ensure key exhibitions are delivered on time, in full across the businessTeam Leadership and CollaborationManage and mentor the Graphic Designer, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic directionFoster a collaborative environment with sales, product, and other departments to create cohesive marketing initiativesMaintain and build-upon third party agency, supplier and professional relationships within the industry, acting as a key voice for the businessRequired QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Marketing & Business, Media Communications, or a related fieldExperience: 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial roleIndustry Knowledge: Familiarity with supply to retail advantageous and/or working within a wholesale, manufacturing or FMCG business
