JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a committed Marketing Intern to join our busy Marketing Team.
Working in a fast-paced agency environment, you will work closely with our Marketing Manager and our Director of Marketing to help deliver a jam-packed marketing schedule, alongside other marketing collateral, aimed at attracting new business for the agency.
The Marketing Department is pivotal to Design4Retail's ongoing growth, which is why, upon successfully completing the internship, we would be willing to offer a permanent position to the right candidate.
The role will require you to attend the office full time (9:00am – 5:30pm) with an optional 1 day working from home (to ensure that you are getting the most out of your internship).
Our office is based in a converted barn in the Leicestershire countryside in Bitteswell (near Lutterworth).
ESSENTIAL TO THIS ROLE | Full training will be provided however upon starting this position, you should… - Be legally able to work in the UK without need for sponsorship by D4R - Hold a valid driving licence and be able to commute to the office everyday – you will need a vehicle due to the remote location of the office - Have a high level of written English, and be able to undertake research tasks - be able to write bitesize chunks of copy without spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes, and be able to adapt your writing style to match the D4R tone-of-voice - Be able to travel periodically to key shopping destinations across the UK via car or public transport (whichever is most convenient) - Be willing to learn, and have confidence to ask questions and communicate effectively - Be good at prioritising, have good time-management, and be highly organised - Be able to complete tasks with a sense of urgency - Be able to follow instructions with accuracy and have great attention to detail whilst not losing sight of the bigger picture IDEAL, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL | You… - Are a Marketing or English Graduate - Have experience using Adobe and Microsoft Office suite - Have experience with Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, and Vimeo JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (MAIN DUTIES) - Send pre-written insight reports to those who request them and add mailing list subscribers to the CRM - Be a brand ambassador by proudly engaging with D4R marketing content via social media and encouraging other employees to do the same - Create social media 'stories' using predefined templates - Schedule pre-written social media posts in the scheduler (Plannable) and publish stories and posts manually that cannot be pre-scheduled - To be a guardian of a document containing a library of D4R case studies (adding to the document as necessary) - Add new project videos to YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok and Pinterest - Undertake desk and 'out in the field' research (expenses paid trips to UK destinations) - Tracking social media analytics - General website updates, including updating web pop-up beginning of every month - Managing Photography bookings – Booking photographer, Raising PO and invoicing If this sounds like you, then we're interested.
