Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

SRG are excited to be working with a well-established life sciences organisation who are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer on a full-time permanent basis and to join at a very exciting time for the business.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing all plant and equipment to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
The role will involve ensuring that all plant and equipment operates within its agreed specification to guarantee safety of operators and to minimise the cost of production for clients.

The position will be site based in Stirling and 37.5 hours per week.

Requirements:
HNC or Degree in Electrical Engineering- degree level qualification would be desirable
Recent experience of working in a regulated environment in a broad engineering or technical capacity.
Change control management.
Equipment and facilities maintenance and repair.
Management of contractors.
Working knowledge of clean room standards and medicinal product regulations.
Good understanding of Laboratory/clean room processing equipment and facility services.
(Balances, pumps, VLAF cabinets, Plant Steam, Clean steam WFI, HVAC etc.
).
Understanding of GMP guidelines.
