Graduate Engineer/ Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join our innovative and dynamic team.
You'll have the opportunity to design and manufacture cutting-edge medical devices that make a meaningful impact on the world.

Lead the electronics design of new medical device systems and accessories, in compliance with the Company's design control procedures and regulatory standards (including ISO 13485 and QSR).
? System architecture and design of analogue & digital electronics, including schematics and PCB layout for electronics including microcontrollers and FPGAs.
? Drive enhancements to the existing product range by managing upgrades due to regulatory changes, component obsolescence, or customer feedback.
? Provide support for design validation, covering areas such as electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and usability testing.
? Collaborate with the Operations team to manage the transfer of products to manufacturing, ensuring the smooth definition of assembly and test procedures, as well as providing ongoing technical support and process improvements.
? Partner with the Quality department to conduct thorough investigations into non-conformances, leading root cause analysis and defining corrective and preventative actions.

Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Electronics Engineering or similar.
? 5+ years of experience in electronics design for system development.
? Electronics schematic and layout design experience (ideally in Altium Designer) for analogue and digital circuits.
? Proficient in electronics circuit simulation (SPICE, Power Distribution, High Speed Signal Integrity).
? Proficient user of electronics Test & Measurement equipment.
? Experience within the medical devices sector or a similar highly-regulated industry.
? Electronics reliability analysis including component de-rating and worst case circuit analysis.
? Skilled in preventative design for first time pass at Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Immunity (EMI) testing.
? Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS), preferably in accordance with ISO 13485.
? DFMEA experience and knowledge of risk management in line with ISO 14971 and other relevant medical device standards, particularly IEC 60601.
? Experience in interfacing with manufacturing facilities, suppliers or design subcontractors.
