JOB DESCRIPTIONLeader, Training and OnboardingJob Purpose: The FSP (Functional Service Provider) Training and Onboarding Leader is responsible for overseeing all aspects of program-related training, compliance, onboarding, and talent management within FSP.
This crucial role combines strategic planning, curriculum development, SOP ownership, and hands-on execution to ensure seamless integration of new hires, continuous skill development for existing team members, and support for business operationsKey Accountabilities:Training Management and DevelopmentIdentify training needs across FSP programs and departmentsDevelop comprehensive curricula to address identified needsDeliver engaging training sessions and ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirementsManage both FSP-specific and departmental training initiativesDevise and implement training initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, employee performance, and engagementConduct training needs analyses for FSP Operations and promote/develop/deliver training to support efficient and effective operational managementOversee provision of FSP-specific manager-related training to FSP Line Managers and Account LeadsOnboarding Process OptimizationDesign and implement a streamlined onboarding process for new FSP employeesCoordinate all aspects of new hire integration, including orientation, equipment setup, system access, training, and essential program informationDevelop and maintain comprehensive new hire onboarding guides for each FSP programLead the onboarding process for new clients and ensure smooth transition of client requirements into existing FSP processesStaff Development and Talent ManagementDemonstrate and exemplify the attributes of an effective leader, including strategic thinking and actionContribute to and influence training strategy and visionProvide technical support to FSP training specialists and mentor team members to improve efficiency and effectivenessEnsure direct reports meet departmental and program productivity and quality metricsManage employee performance through feedback, goal setting, and reviewsHire and onboard new employees aligned with customer and Parexel's needsProvide coaching and mentoring to foster adaptability, collaboration, and leadership developmentEnhance engagement and retention through career development and proactive guidanceBusiness Operations SupportStrategically plan and manage FSP training resources and activities for both new and existing businessPartner with FSP Senior Leadership to create strategic training solutions for RFPs/RFIs and provide expert consultation on training-related mattersParticipate in bid pursuit meetings and client engagements to promote Parexel's FSP training capabilitiesProvide training-related support for quality issues, audits, and inspections as assignedDevelop and maintain strategic partnerships with key functional areas to promote the FSP brand and support business strategiesCompliance SupportMaintains a sound familiarity with Parexel FSP systems and related processes documentation and may serve as lead author and/or clinical subject matter expert.May provide training-related support for management of quality issues or other input for audits and inspections as assigned.
