Head of Software Engineering - Telco Client - 1 day a week onsite in Reading - £90-95k Role: Head of Software Engineering Salary Range: £90-95k + £6k car allowance Healthcare, Life and Income insurance, Competitive A/L Location: Office in Reading - 1 day a week onsite A minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role in Systems Engineering or a related field, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
• Strong technical background in telecommunications systems and infrastructure, including OSS and BSS - ESSENTIAL!
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, protocols, and technologies, such as Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, APIs, and Microservice Architectures.
• Develop and implement ITIL-based change management practices • Experience implementing multi-modal generative AI to increase automation would be advantageous.
• Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
