A highly reputable industry leader in water treatment are seeking an Account Manager to join to the specialist sales team covering the North East region for a period of 12 months for maternity cover.

Water Treatment Specialist
The long-standing and highly reputable Water team are hiring due to growth and expansion of territory.
Our client helps their customers enhance air quality, reduce energy, water and other natural resource consumption, minimise environmental releases and improve productivity and end products whilst reducing cost.
The Role - Account Manager
Manage and develop long standing client relationships, with an intense focus on exceeding client expectations and driving service delivery.
You will have a hands-on approach to service and deliver value through developing and managing technical projects to solve customer problems.

This role is focused on but not limited to food, beverage, pharma and light manufacturing industries.
Carry out water testing of systems to validate correct application of additives and equipment calibrations/first fix
Provide support to customers in maintaining legionella compliance
Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer challenges, and escalating to expert colleagues as required
Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, plant surveys, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels
Actively sell and support innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships
Over 2 years' experience of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
Chemistry related Degree or A-Levels such as Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology etc or Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering
A willingness to collaborate as part of a technically excellent team and service whilst being valued for your contribution
Full UK Driver's licence
