Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a management accountant for a growing organisation based in Newport.
The Management Accountant will be responsible for: ensure financial reporting accuracy and contribute to an effective internal control environment.
The Management Accountant plays a critical role in the monthly close process by demonstrating ownership mindset and high level of responsibility over the accounts.
The role will support broad company initiatives and interact with key internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Job Functions Preparation of monthly Management Accounts and month end G/L trial balance for review.
Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for review.
Maintenance of the general ledger, including posting of journals, maintenance of prepayments, accruals, CoS and deferred income schedules.
Resolution of any issues to ensure records remain accurate Manage Sales, WIP, Invoicing, Credit Control and Revenue recognition and maintain completeness and integrity of contract manager data.
Prepare customer invoices in line with contracted terms.
Preparation of Management Information and Analysis as required.
Assist with budget queries?and comparison of actual costs with budget Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers and depreciation Assist on VAT and Tax returns Deal with and respond to customer and vendor queries in a prompt and timely manner Assist with the annual audit, local audit and statutory accounts Salary of from £50,000 to £55,000 hybrid working and a generous benefits package Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
