Reporting to the XDP Directors you will be part of an established team.
The role is a new role within the business with activities ranging from assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and undertaking daily/weekly reporting across the business. Based in Sutton Coldfield, Full Time, Office Based.
This role can offer exposure to a wide range of financial areas for the successful candidate.
This candidate will have a real eye for detail and a passion for quality, ideally suiting an individual looking for a 1st role in the industry.
You will help to provide accounting support within the finance team to produce, deliver, and continuously improve the management accounts Deliverables: Preparing the monthly management accounts.
Preparing weekly financial information to be shared across senior team.
Maintaining the fixed asset register and disposals.
Preparation and posting of monthly journals.
Assist with year-end reporting and audit.
Overseeing & preparing of balance sheet reconciliations – including hire purchase and operating lease agreements.
Supporting the wider finance team during projects.
Ensuring continuous improvement of the role function.
Ensure high standards of behaviour and professionalism within all aspects of the role.
Critical Competencies & Abilities Required for the Role: Strong analytical and problem–solving skills.
Good numerical ability with high levels of attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy and varied workload.
Able to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong working knowledge of Sage 200.
Experience in managing large volumes of data.
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal & external stakeholders.
Highly motivated and able to quickly grasp new concepts and challenges.
Experience: Essential AAT or CCAB qualified.
Logistics background preferable (or similar – not essential).
Critical problem-solving ability & delving into granular levels of detail.
Ability to analyse & interpret information quickly.

Technical Knowledge: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Office & Outlook, Powerpoint.
Ability to manipulate data in dashboards to generate meaningful and summarised reports.
People Management: Management of work output & collation, but no direct line manager responsibility.
Some coaching, knowledge transfer, mentoring & support to colleagues.
