Management Accountant (9 Month Ftc)

Change Accountancy and Finance are partnering with a fast growing Edinburgh-based business for the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their team on a 9 month FTC basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), with strong hands on experience in a similar role looking to take ownership of the full production of accounts.

Please note: this contract might have the opportunity of extension/conversion to permanent.

Reporting to one of the Financial Controllers, responsibilities will include:
Full preparation of Management Accounts, including commentary Preparation of monthly cashflow and P&L forecasting Preparation of annual budgets Detailed financial analysis, including KPI VAT returns Assisting with external audit Preparing Forecasts and comprehensive Budget detail Supervision of junior Management Accountant Ad hoc duties Requirements for the role: ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification Previous experience in a management accounting role Strong interpersonal skills IT and finance system experience (including Excel) Candidate should ideally be Immediately available or on a short notice Salary offered between £50'000 and £60'000 per annum (to be pro-rata over the 9 months), DOE plus benefits.
