We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a growing company operating in the agricultural sector.
You will be part of a small but dynamic engineering team, ensuring smooth operations and plant efficiency.
This role requires a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias.
There will be occasional night shift coverage (up to 6 times per year) to cover holiday absences.
Key Responsibilities: Perform proactive and reactive maintenance tasks on plant machinery Optimize processes to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability Implement improvements and develop new maintenance techniques Manage your workflow, ensuring adherence to maintenance budgets Oversee projects and ensure the availability of critical spare parts Key Skills & Qualifications: Strong understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and commitment to safety culture Experience post-apprenticeship Electro-mechanical fault-finding and repairs on PLC-controlled plant (including pneumatic and hydraulic systems) Proven experience with preventative maintenance tasks Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to provide detailed shift reports High energy, a "can-do" attitude, and attention to detail Flexibility to adjust shifts to cover for other engineers Commitment to continuous training and development Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Electrical qualifications (NVQ or bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline) Strong technical, analytical, and fault-finding abilities Demonstrated continuous improvement skills Benefits: Bonus up to £1,200 Pension 33 days holiday Private healthcare Overtime available Career progression opportunities This is a fantastic chance to join a well-established international company offering stability and opportunities for career development.
