We are recruiting for a self-sufficient, confident Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate will be Mechanically biased as 80% of the issues on site are of a mechanical nature.
We are looking for someone driven and ambitious to help drive the company towards manufacturing excellence.
The ideal candidate will come from a fast paced manufacturing environment with some heavy industry experience.
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Duties: Reactive maintenance of medium &; heavy plant machinery – Conveyors, mills, compactors pelletizers, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, relays etc..Mechanical maintenance 80% electrical maintenance 20%PPM’sLine improvement tasksFault finding using PLC’sCan read and work from electrical schematicsThe provision and implementation of solutions in line with the engineering strategy to reduce downtimeUse of root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons behind problems and failures, seeking to identify areas for improvement in plant performance.Continually drive towards a PPM cultureTo assist in setting of machines in conjunction with the operations teamThe provision of a first-class engineering serviceMulti Skilled Maintenance Engineer Required Experience : Time served apprenticeship ideallyMechanical qualifications from a recognised body - NVQ, HNC etc..Electrical fault-finding skillsPLC experienceMachinery maintenance (PPM’s and reactive)Both mechanical &; electrical machinery maintenanceFMCG or heavy industrial machinery experienceContinuous improvement projectsMulti Skilled Maintenance Engineer Benefits: Competitive Salary up to £44,325.22Free car parkingPension contributionDiscounts on siteProgression opportunitiesMulti Skilled Maintenance Engineer Shifts: Monday – Friday – Flexible on timings to start between 8am &; 10am 8.5 hour shift 42.5 hours per week
