M&A Senior Analyst – Business Services Team
Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading, global mid-market bank with an extensive track record in completing successful M&A transactions on behalf of its clients.
The team's senior bankers leverage comprehensive industry knowledge and relationships to maximise value for a wide range of companies.

Responsibilities
Support the execution of business services M&A mandates which include education, software, legal and consulting.
Prepare, analyse, and explain companies' historical and projected financial information and business plans.
Coordinate and perform business due diligence.
Prepare marketing materials e.g.
management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations.
Value companies and businesses.
Assist in the marketing and planning of M&A engagements.
Supervise and coach junior staff members in the completion of presentations, research, and financial analyses, ensuring their development according to team and firm standards.

Qualifications
Must have at least 3 years of M&A deal execution experience (ideally pitch to close) from an Investment Bank, Boutique Advisory Firm, or from Big 4 Corporate Finance/ M&A Team.
Proven track record of M&A transaction experience with mid-market Technology companies.
Demonstrable knowledge of M&A processes.
Financial acumen and ability to value companies based on their financial profile, strategic relevance, and end market attractiveness.
Aptitude for financial analysis, interpretation, and presentation in marketing materials.
Able to work in complex situations and deliver results.
Problem-solving aptitude.
Able to manage multiple engagements and shifting priorities.
Creativity and ability to innovate / think out of the box.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Can build rapport with clients.
Proactivity, energy, and enthusiasm.
Able to make things happen, both internally and in transaction executions.

Day-to-day
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the execution of business services M&A mandates, preparing financial analyses, coordinating due diligence, and assisting in the marketing and planning of M&A engagements.
They will also be involved in supervising and coaching junior staff members, valuing companies, and preparing marketing materials.
