With 1200+ lawyers, 300+ partners, 28 offices and 17 jurisdictions we are looking for 30 vacation schemers to join our London office for a 2 week placement.
The opportunity for you Our vacation schemes are designed for you to experience life as a trainee solicitor in a fast-paced and innovative City law firm.
You'll spend two weeks in two different practice groups gaining first-hand experience under the supervision of associates and partners.
You'll also be involved in socials, networking opportunities, pro bono work and more, so you'll end the scheme with invaluable experience and a clear sense of career direction.
The Summer Vacation Schemes run from: 9 June to 20 June 2025 30 June to 11 July 2025.
We recruit trainee solicitors from our Vacation scheme so all participants will automatically be considered for a training contract commencing 2026 / 2027.
What we're looking for We look for a minimum of AAB at A Level (or equivalent), and on track or gained at least a 2:1 in any degree discipline.
You'll need to have good commercial instincts and be able to demonstrate you understand how businesses work.
You'll need to be able to explain complicated issues clearly, engage with stakeholders effectively and manage your workload efficiently.
You'll need to adapt quickly to new situations and feel comfortable with the unknown.
You need to be focused, committed, and have the drive necessary to solve often complex and challenging legal issues.
