This post is designed for doctors working toward their Portfolio Pathway (CESR) application.
It is a Health Board role aiming to deliver career training and development to doctors in a clear structure with educational support.
This post is to commence as soon as possible on a fixed term basis - length of contract to be discussed and confirmed at interview depending on the requirements for the individual appointed.
You will be allocated a Consultant who has personally completed the Portfolio Pathway (CESR) process as an educational and clinical supervisor to guide you through the process and help you with your portfolio.
Your training will aim to mirror that delivered by a higher specialty training programme and utilize portfolio evidence in the same way.
You will be joining a very experienced, multi-disciplinary team of nurses, psychotherapists, psychologists, dietitians, occupational therapists and medical staff.
Although you will be part of the Adult Eating Disorder Team, you will work closely with colleagues in Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Adult Primary and Adult Community Mental Health Teams to ensure that individuals experience a seamless and co-ordinated approach to their care.

You'll have access to excellent CPD with our own medical education centre based on the Cefn Coed Hospital site in Swansea as well as an education centre in Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
