A leading law firm based in Cheltenham is seeking a driven and skilled solicitor with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team. As part of the team, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a varied caseload, including preparation for high court trials, shareholder and partnership disputes, and contentious IP matters. You will also assist with negotiating settlements for businesses facing deadlocks or breakdowns in relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Managing a range of complex commercial and civil disputes from inception to conclusion, with a particular focus on high-value, complex matters. Handling commercial litigation and intellectual property cases. Supporting clients in business disputes, including shareholder and partnership issues, contractual disputes, and construction-related claims. Assisting with dispute resolution through mediation, with opportunities to develop your skills in this area. Providing practical, commercial advice to clients across a variety of sectors. Requirements: At least 1 year PQE in commercial litigation or dispute resolution. Strong understanding of commercial and civil dispute resolution, with experience in managing complex cases. Experience in contentious intellectual property and business disputes is desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
