The Role: Our client is looking for a bright, professional, team orientated Conveyancing Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.
The ideal candidate will need to possess enthusiasm, a pro-active approach, the ability to adapt and learn quickly and a strong interest in property law.
Responsibilities: Handling incoming calls and other communications, responding to queries promptly, with the support of others where required.
Preparing, receiving and verifying new client care park electronically, working closely with Solicitors and Fee Earners to ensure regulatory compliance.
Verification of identification and source of funds for all new clients.
Completing Title Checks under the direction of a Fee Earner.
Updating the case management system proactively to ensure all matters accurately reflect current status.
Completing tasks assigned by Fee Earner or other team members to ensure a smooth and swift service to clients.
Working with third party stakeholders to develop business relationships by providing excellent customer service.
Skills and Requirements: You must be self-motivated and can efficiently organise yourself, being able to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
An interest in Property Law is essential.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft packages is essential.
Previous experience working in an office role would be ideal but is not essential.
You should be practical and able to employ a commonsense approach.
A positive "can do" attitude is key to their culture and business model.
