Lgv Mechanic

Our client in Peterhead has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced & qualified LGV mechanic to join their vehicle repair & service division.
This is a full time permanent position with an excellent remuneration package for the right applicant.
Fully time served applicants are desirable however, experienced semi-skilled may be considered.
Duties To carry out servicing & repairs.
To inspect & prepare vehicles to VOSA / DVLA Test Standards.
To carry out periodic safety inspection checks.
To work on own initiative, ie: breakdown service repairs.
Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working in the workshop or on-site.
Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
Essential skills & Experience Time served or semi skilled in LGV Mechanics Proven experience with repairs and diagnostics.
Experience of servicing light goods commercial vehicles is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
