LEV Technician We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented LEV Technician to join our clients team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
The LEV Technician will work closely with various departments to enhance air quality and contribute to a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and testing of LEV systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to LEV equipment, documenting findings and implementing effective solutions.
Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components in LEV systems, including fans, ducts, and filters.
Maintain accurate records of all inspections, maintenance, repairs, and relevant compliance documentation.
Collaborate with health and safety teams to assess and improve ventilation systems in response to changing workplace needs.
Provide technical support and guidance to other staff regarding the proper use and maintenance of LEV systems.
Stay up to date with industry regulations, best practices, and advancements in technology related to LEV systems.
Assist in training and educating employees on LEV system operation and safety procedures.
Participate in safety audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace air quality.
Qualifications: Relevant certification in LEV system maintenance and repair (e.g., BOHS P601).
Proven experience working with LEV systems in an industrial or commercial setting.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to ventilation systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
