We're looking for a Compliance Manager to join a collaborative team at a leading international law firm with a reputation for excellence across the Energy, Transport and Infrastructure sectors.
Overview: As the Compliance Manager (UK, EU & USA), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the firm meet key regulatory requirements.
Working closely with the Head of Compliance and reporting to the Director of Risk & Compliance, you will oversee the daily activities of the compliance team and help shape their risk and regulatory framework across multiple regions.
Your Key Responsibilities: Allocate and manage workloads across the team to ensure swift conflict checks and efficient handling of new client matters.
Provide training and support to team members on key regulatory issues.
Respond to complex regulatory queries and investigations.
Maintain and update compliance policies and procedures.
Support recruitment efforts and assist with other strategic projects.
Present key insights and updates to senior stakeholders and office heads.
Requirements: Experience leading compliance teams in an international law firm.
Strong knowledge of SRA requirements, AML regulations, and conflict-related matters.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with tools like Intapp Open, GDPR requirements, and sanctions compliance is a plus.
