About the Role: As a Lecturer in Media, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of media education.
You will deliver engaging and inspiring content, foster a creative learning environment, and equip students with the practical skills and critical thinking needed to excel in the fast-paced media landscape.
Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Learning: Deliver high-quality, student-centred teaching across a range of media subjects, including digital media, journalism, film, and broadcasting.
Curriculum Development: Innovate and develop curriculum materials that reflect the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
Student Engagement: Mentor and support students in their academic and personal development, fostering a culture of excellence and ambition.
Industry Collaboration: Build and maintain strong links with industry partners to ensure our programs remain cutting-edge and relevant.
What they are looking for: Qualifications: A master's degree in media or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in teaching at higher education level, with a strong background in journalism, marketing and PR or related areas.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Proficiency using the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, In Design and Premiere Pro) is preferable.
