Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and looking for a fulfilling role where you can make a real difference?
U-Educate are working with a fantastic SEN School in Southampton who are looking for a SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA).
Key Responsibilities :
Support children with a range of special educational needs, including emotional, behavioural, and learning challenges.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to deliver personalized learning plans and activities.
Assist students with classroom tasks, ensuring they are engaged, focused, and supported in their learning.
Promote positive behaviour, communication, and social development within the classroom.
Provide one-to-one support for children who may require additional help or have specific care needs.
Key Requirements :
A genuine passion for working with children with SEN and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
Experience working with children (desirable, but not essential – full training is provided).
Patience, empathy, and resilience, with a calm and positive approach to managing challenges.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
