Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Lancashire, Blackpool Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £12.85 - £13.50 Per hour Job Duties: Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans Help students with academic tasks and personal care needs Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers Support students during classroom activities and outings Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children or young adults Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Experience working with children or young adults Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of learning difficulties and disabilities Ability to provide academic and emotional support to students Knowledge of safeguarding procedures Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid training Working Conditions: Work in a school environment Full-time hours with occasional weekend or evening work May involve some physical activity such as assisting students with mobility Potential exposure to challenging behaviours All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
