Job summary We are seeking highlymotivated, innovative, compassionate and clinically-experienced registered clinicians to join the newly established Learning Disability and Autism (LDA) Outreach Team at Devon Partnership NHSTrust.These exciting new clinical leadership Band7 roles will involve working in collaboration with other LDA Outreach colleagues, community learning disability and autism colleagues in addition to colleagues from 'The Brook' our 10-beddedLearning Disability and Autism inpatient unit.We are seeking broad multidisciplinary representation,including Mental Health and Learning Disability nursing in addition to AHPswith Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy backgrounds.You should have extensive clinical knowledge, advanced clinical leadership skills and be able to prioritise and manage workload.
You should also have excellent safeguarding, Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act knowledge in addition to advanced interpersonal, communication, formulation and risk assessment skills.

Desirable Understanding of Positive Behavioural Support and Trauma Informed Practice Qualifications Essential A professional learning disability or mental health nursing qualification eg RNLD, RMN, Nursing Degree, Qualified Occupational Therapist with extensive learning disability and/or mental health experience, Speech and Language Therapist with extensive learning disability and/or mental health experience.
Postgraduate qualification relevant to specialism or commitment to work towards.
Further specialist training to masters equivalent level.
Training to level 3 in Safeguarding Adults, Children and Young People: roles and competencies for Health Care staff or commitment to work towards.
