This role provides essential support the business whilst ensuring delivery of our L&D strategy.
Working with the wider Learning & Development team to ensure our wonderful people have access to 'best in class' professional and personal development at every stage of their career with Clermont Hotel Group.
You'll oversee all aspects of The Academy (our bespoke training venue) including course scheduling, coordinating facilitators and providing support to the L&D Advisor as required, along with the following... Support Line Managers to ensure that all new employees receive structured onboarding via The Academy within the required timeframesMonitor progress of 30, 60 and 90-day reviews and ensure that all new hires are supported and signed off within the relevant time frameWork with internal stakeholders to observe employee performance, monitor quality assurance program scores and guest feedback to identify and address both employee and hotel development needsProvide feedback and coaching as required based on identified development needsCollaborate with Head of Talent & Organisational Development and subject matter experts to identify target audience's training needsCreate engaging learning activities and compelling course content for both in person and online useCreate bespoke online content and curated learning collectionsDelivery of workshops, both in person and virtuallyManage the Apprenticeship Academy including applications, reviews, tracking and progress updatesCoordinate quarterly apprentice networking events and graduation celebrationsMaintain clear communication channels with external Apprenticeship PartnersDevelop and maintain a network of Buddy trainers across operational departmentsProvide efficient, effective and customer focused service (in person or via the Academy inbox) which supports all aspects of training, learning and development You will be required to support with additional L&D and wider HR initiatives and administrative duties from time to time, as needed.
What we look for Sound knowledge of instructional design theories, practice and methodsAbility to facilitate group training as well as confidently present information in one-to-one and small group situationsDemonstrable ability to negotiate and influence internal and external customers and colleagues at all levels across the businessPositive attitude and the desire to develop and motivate othersExceptional communication skills, including spoken and written EnglishStrong command of software applications, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience in eLearning authoring software (Articulate would be a bonus!
)Previous experience of an LMS platformAbility to work cohesively as part of a team as well as self-motivateAbility to work on multiple priorities and meet deadlines Previous experience in a similar role in a Customer Service or Hospitality environment (Hospitality experience preferable)Previous experience of conducting training needs analysis and training evaluationPrevious experience in multi-site operations (desirable)Learning & Development or HR qualification; CIPD or equivalent (desirable) What's in it for you?
