Main duties of the job Lead and develop the Compton Care physiotherapy service with an emphasis on symptom control, rehabilitation and improving/maintaining independence and quality of life.Work across the inpatient unit, outpatient unit and in patients own homes to provide therapy support and advice to patients and other health care professionals.Maintain a highly visible presence as a role model to staff, patients and visitors.Promoting timely, responsive care to rapidly deteriorating or changing patients.Ensure patient care is planned in line with national and local guidelines to enable patients with a life limiting condition to receive individualised care, which will enable them to remain in a care setting of their choice.
