LEAD CREDIT RISK ANALYST (SME LENDING) UP TO £85,000 FULLY REMOTE This is an exciting opportunity to join this companies growing business lending team.
You will be responsible for the credit strategy across all business lending products.

This is an exciting time to join the business as they have constant growth projections and are looking to launch new products.
THE ROLE You will be doing the following daily: Leading the development and implementation of credit and pricing strategies for business lending products.
Continuously monitoring and optimising the performance of current strategies.
Supporting the design, launch, and enhancement of new products and customer experiences.
Driving initiatives to improve credit underwriting, accelerate growth, and manage portfolio risk.
Collaborating with teams across engineering, marketing, product, risk, and control to design and deliver strategic initiatives.
Developing and overseeing credit models to project cash flows and evaluate the net present value of new lending cohorts.
Assisting in the creation and deployment of new lending strategies by analysing data patterns and translating them into actionable insights.
Building, maintaining, and managing database tables and dashboards to provide insights and enable rapid, data-driven decision-making.
Evaluating the performance of lending portfolios for specific products over time.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Previous experience working in business lending.
Strong understand of credit risk from acquisitions to collections.
Experience developing and deploying strategies and credit risk models.
Excellent analytical capabilities: SQL is essential, and Python/Looker are desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of UK lending regulations.
