Job summary An exciting opportunity as a Lead Pharmacist has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the established clinical pharmacy team supporting oncology and haematology patients across Mid and South Essex.You, based at the Broomfield University Hospital site, will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team, working to provide excellent care to oncology patients throughout the Trust.In return for your hard work and commitment we will give you the opportunity to develop your skills in a friendly, structured environment supported by an excellent team.
Main duties of the job To lead and develop a high quality, comprehensive pharmacy service to oncology and haematology patients within Mid and South Essex To ensure Medicines Management Standards are met within Oncology and Haematology Service To regularly undertake audit projects and research and development with respect to national and local guidelines of practice To be actively involved in the clinical governance aspects of the pharmaceutical service To provide clinical support to the pharmacy aseptic preparation unit About us Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is now one of the largest in the country, with a workforce of approximately 15,000 who serve a population of million people.We work together, and in conjunction with MSE Health and Care Partnership, to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients in a compassionate way, and provide a respectful, but vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.From facilities through to consultant specialists we want to be the best, to achieve this we need to recruit not just those who are the finest in their field but also those who have the potential to be.
