Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team, providing one-to-one support for a KS2 child with ADHD at a vibrant primary school in Bacup.
Location: OL13 Bacup Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am- 3.30pm Rate of pay: 12.90- 14.50 per hour Temp/ Prem starting in October 2024 Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to a KS2 child with , ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging the child's social and academic development.
Monitor and report on the child's progress, adapting strategies as necessary to promote their success.
Utilise various techniques and resources to engage the child in learning activities and help them stay focused and motivated.
Requirements: Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly ADHD.
A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
