Job summary Interview to be scheduled on 6th February 2025 The appointee's principal duties will be based in the Department of Transplantation and dialysis Access Surgery at UHCW and will include inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and surgical lists.
The post will suit applicants who wish to gain experience in Renal Transplantation, Vascular Access, and General Surgery.
Participation in an on call rota is not essential but can be discussed if desired for personal development (either General or Transplant/Vascular Surgery dependent on experience).
The post will initially be for 12 months with the opportunity to extend for 2 years.
You will be expected to assist with providing transplantation and vascular access services including both emergency and elective work.
The unit performs an average of 70 renal transplant and 300 dialysis access procedures per year.
We have a large live donor transplant programme that is growing and includes HLA and ABO incompatible transplantation.

Main duties of the job To assist with the comprehensive management of a complete range of transplant and vascular access services at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
