(Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 11 and above (currently £30, per annum / £15.97 per hour)The Council will pay for the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members, and this cost will be deducted from an employee's first FULL month's salary payment.To assist in domestic and commercial building maintenance by carrying out joinery repairs and upgrades to Aberdeen City Council's property infrastructure.Driving licence preferred but not essential.The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:• SVQ Carpentry and Joinery (Construction) SCQF level 6 (SVQ level 3) or equivalent.The postholder is able to demonstrate:• Reading technical drawings.• Carrying out second and first fixes on either domestic, commercial or industrial installations.
