This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading company within the transport sector, who are now looking to expand their IT team via an IT Support and Business Analyst position.
Your new role In this role, you will be responsible for IT service management, ensuring that the core Support & Change tasks are prioritised and escalated to the relevant team.
You will also be expected to analyse and evaluate business systems and user needs and ensure that business pain-points are being addressed and IT solutions provisioned.
There are a number of day to day responsibilities that are expected of the successful candidate in this role, which include but are not limited to: Manage day-to-day Service Desk Operations Support end-users with IT issues for 1st and 2nd line activities.
Working with members of the wider IT Team, MEL Management & End-user Operations Team: Analyse business process, and recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency or accuracy.
Deliver end to end traceability against quality business requirements and /functional specifications.
Support the development of the IT technology stack, Business Applications, Digital, Data & BI portfolio including both existing and new source systems integrations.
Work with all IT pillars on ensuring solutions are innovative and fit-for-future in line with business requirements.
What you'll need to succeed Our client has emphasised the importance of the successful candidate being extremely determined and possessing a can-do attitude.
From a technical perspective, it is required that you possess the following skills in order to be successful for this role; Experience with customer service activities.
Experience in L1/L2 & some L3 support.
Ability to quickly absorb our business processes & ways of working and new knowledge • Ability to think outside the box to solve problems Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools Knowledge of Azure/Active directory.
Detailed Knowledge of Windows operating Systems.
Basic network troubleshooting.
What you'll get in return Salary of up to £45k Hybrid Working Pattern - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
