We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Innovation Business Partner to join our dynamic Transport Infrastructure, continuous improvement team.
In this role, you will support the head of business improvement by being responsible for leading and developing innovation projects and programmes that are aligned with the overall Amey business strategy.
You will help people across Amey to deliver sustainable, incremental and radical change. It provides training and coaching to increase skill levels, the tools needed to support structured innovation, and both internal and external engagement to develop, test and procure solutions required for the Amey business to grow.
This role offers you the unique opportunity to influence strategic thinking across the Highway's communities, help to shape how the business grows and responds to a range of challenges including decarbonisation, automation, digital transformation and operational improvement in existing and new markets.
What You'll Do: Manage strategic innovation projects that support market positioning and operational transformation e.g Live Labs 2 / NH Accelerator Programme / Digital Roads for the Future Work closely with business teams internally and the external supply chain / market to identify solutions that will help Amey break into or generate rapid growth in new markets and develop associated value propositions. Identify, trial and embed solutions that will support winning work in our current markets Managing and maintaining innovation methodology and theory Market scanning, partnership engagement and strategic road mapping to ensure Amey and its clients have access to the latest solutions Engaging with start-ups and accelerators to pull in new capability into the Amey business Managing and growing project portfolios through a variety of means, from grant funding applications to invest to save initiatives Implementing a robust, benefits driven approach to project delivery Line Management of the teams Innovation Manager(s) Collaborating with the internal Amey business Supporting growth and business development through client engagement and bidding Why Join Us?
