Income Officer - 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract Location: Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, and Buckinghamshire Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum + 0.45p per mile mileage reimbursement Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Hybrid Working: Flexible working model, with 2-3 days per week working from home We are delighted to partner with one of the UK's leading providers of newly built affordable housing to recruit an Income Officer on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

Key Responsibilities: Proactively manage income collection for various tenure types within a designated patch while providing outstanding customer care.
Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding rent accounts and arrears.
Negotiate payment arrangements and manage rent arrears cases effectively.
Collaborate with the Financial Wellbeing Team to support tenants in sustaining their tenancies.
Provide expert advice on welfare benefits, Universal Credit, Housing Benefit, and liaise with agencies like CAB.
Prepare and present casework for court hearings, representing the organisation as required.
