As a Functional Specialist you will: Write reports and carry out assessments to support the DWP/DfC's decision making processes Deliver an objective and independent assessment of the impact of health conditions and disabilities on claimants You will use evidence supplied and the assessment to write a report showing the effects of a claimant's health condition/s or disability.

What We Seek Minimum one year of post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic.
Full registration with a UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, etc.)
with no restrictions and a valid PIN.
Strong observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and delve deeper.
Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and generate accurate reports.
Proficient with IT, Microsoft Office, and remote system access.
Valid driving license or reliable transportation to reach the nearest assessment centre.
Working Hours Full-time role: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day).
Flexible hours can be arranged with your line manager after initial training, considering both personal preferences and business needs.
Work hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, with an unpaid one-hour lunch break.
Sample schedules include: 8am - 4:30pm or 9am - 5:30pm.
We will provide at least 4 weeks' notice for any changes to your schedule.
