They do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today. Their gas Terminals are fundamental to the UK economy and energy demands.
They take pride in ensuring the safe, efficient, reliable and flexible supply of natural gas from the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) and Norway, providing key interfaces between UK/EU gas supplies.

As a HV Senior Electrical Technician, you ' ll undertake installation, inspection, commissioning, operation, repair, maintenance and emergency response activities in addition to providing specialist HV Engineering support to the HV Variable Speed Drive Compressor Units and maintain all competencies associated with the role as required.
You will undertake safe setting to work for self and others, of work activities in accordance with the safe control of operations procedures contributing to a team culture of safe working and safety compliance in all work activities.
You will identify the requirement to replace/upgrade existing plant and equipment, participate in the design of minor modifications, and the provision of technical support within discipline and competencies as required.
You will participate in duty standby rota and occasionally shift working arrangements and oversee and inspect work activities undertaken by contractors and working party members where required to provide assurance that technical and safety compliance standards re being maintained and undertaken.
What we are looking for To be successful in this role, you will ideally have a good understanding of operation and maintenance of high pressure gas transmission pipeline systems and above ground installations, associated plant & equipment, fault diagnosis and rectification (Pipelines) with knowledge and experience gained within Electrical Engineering with HV experience.
You will have been assessed competent against Safety & Technical Competency Framework for role and have a good understanding of the operation and maintenance aero-derivative or electrically driven machinery trains, associated compressor station and terminal plant & equipment, fault diagnosis and rectification (Compressors).
